More than 200 people turned out on November 25 from 3.30pm to meet Santa, enjoy live music, and entertainment including a dance show.
Councillor Shirley Webb, district councillor for Catshill South, said: “The first Christmas light switch on in Catshill was a great success, the first of many.
“It was great to see the community come together on such a cold afternoon.”
Cllr Webb added thanks to Catshill and North Marlbrook Parish Council, The Village Hall committee, Cheryl Welsh the Town Centres Manager, Singletons Nurseries for donating the Christmas Tree, and Stars Dance Academy and Fairfield School Choir for performing.
